Our Vision

Our school's vision is to provide each student with a world-class education which will provide students all of the knowledge and skills outlined in the Louisiana Educational Standards. It is our hope that every learner will achieve proficiency or better on standardized assessment tests.


Our Mission

The Martin Behrman Charter Family is committed to educating our community to become life-long learners by integrating the arts and sciences.

Our Student Achievement Goals & Objectives
By Spring 2011, 90% of students will reach high standards, attaining proficiency (Basic) or better, in English Language Arts and Math on the LEAP test.
  1. To increase the number of Kindergarten through 3rd grade students (and students with disabilities) reading "on or above grade level" on the DIBELS test to 80% by spring 2010
  2. To increase the percentage of 3rd through 8th grade students (and students with disabilities) scoring "Basic" or better on the English Language Arts session of LEAP and iLEAP to 80% by spring 2010.
  3. To increase the percentage of 3rd through 8th grade students (and students with disabilities) scoring "Basic" or better on the Mathematics session of LEAP and iLEAP to 80% by spring 2010.
